epiphany began December 17th, 2000 in Springfield, TN. We are currently a Southern Baptist church that is sponsored by Coopertown Community Church of the Robertson County Baptist Association of the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Our beliefs and doctrines adhere only to the Bible as stated in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and our methodology is centered around the needs of a post modern world, according to 1 Corinthians 9: 19.
Across the religious landscape, profound changes are creating new spiritual maps and reconfiguring churchgoing constituencies. These changes are taking place in the United Kingdom and the United States as a growing number of frontier churches successfully take root. Whereas many traditional denominations are losing young people, these emerging churches are successfully recapturing nonpracticing Christians and the never-churched.
How can epiphany connect with this world?
E existential A life changing experience. We believe that it is one thing to talk about God, but it is quite another thing to experience Him.
P personal Each individual is important. God cares about everybody as an individual because He is a personal God. The church ought to as well.
I innovative We offer upbeat music, real life drama, multimedia, and positive messages to meet your needs.
P practical The Bible is the book of the Lord's solutions. It can be applied to our 21st century lives. We deal with modern topics and we search to see how the scripture answers those modern topics.
H here A church is a family. We ought to be there for each other.
A adherence Everything that we do focus on the Bible because we believe that it is the truly inspired word of God.
N new beginnings We offer every person a fresh new start. We've all messed up and need a second chance.
Y yawning We believe that when you are bored in church, then you aren't really in church. Church ought to be exciting and fun.
